Welcome...

...to the first addition of the Yard News

It’s been a busy summer!

Each week or whenever there is something important to say, I will send you a quick email --- the “Yard News” --- alerting you to Specials and Tips.

  1. Specials: Like the new stock of reclaimed granite that we just got in and are selling at great prices. Reclaimed granite has a lot of advantages over new granite depending on the application. See photos and more at Landscape Express

  2. Promote your business: In preparation for the upcoming New England Grows show I am adding more material to the Handscape Handbook

Send me photos of your outstanding landscaping projects along with a short description of your company. I will try to showcase your work in the Handbook.

This is a good way to network and get your name out there and it’s a free.
I have a lot of plans on how Landscape Express can help promote your business on our web site. More on this next time…

Send your photos directly to me. Questions, let me know. BTW: If you have not seen the Hardscape Handbook it is on our site Handbook

See’ya in the Yard…

Special Just In...Reclaimed Granite

When 20 dump trucks of Reclaimed Granite curbing and foundation stones recently pulled in we stopped in our tracks.

Reclaimed Granite gives you a sense of history, of times long past, a feeling that “I have been here forever.”

Many pieces show the handwork drill marks and core holes. Colors range from course salt and pepper to tan patina earth tones weathered with lichen.

New granite is different. For one, the top is sawn and smooth, whereas the top of Reclaimed Granite looks almost feathery soft --- the juxtaposition of contrasting values (soft looks with unbelievable hardness) is what many find uniquely appealing.

Perfect for landing steps or massive walls, Reclaimed Granite is also used as building veneer. Some of the pierces are truly hard to find, like the manhole covers and other odd shapes.

Reclaimed Granite is not that easy to come by and right now we have a ton of it. Stop in while the selection is at its peak.

For easy delivery or pick-up we have separated the material in 3, 4, and 5 feet lengths and longer and placed it on pallets.

Homeowners are welcome …get an insider’s peek at where the pros come for unique landscaping material.
